So they embarked on a search through the neighbor’s yard with a forked stick (with the neighbor’s consent, naturally), and astonishingly, the wood twisted toward the ground on its own. Even my skeptical husband had to concede that he witnessed the stick move independently, attributing it to “one of those unexplainable occurrences.”
